The Social Development Commission (SDC) along with the Citizens' Association will be hosting an OUTREACH DAY/FAIR in the community on Friday April 30, 2010. On that day, residents will have access to government and other agencies, including:
- Registrar Generals Department (RGD)
- Electorial Office of Jamaica (EOJ)
- National Environment and Protection Agency (NEPA)
- The Ministry of Health through, JADEP & NHF
- National Youth Service (NYS)
- HEART Trust
- Jamaica Money Market Brokers (JMMB)
Efforts are also being made to have representatives from the Passport Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA - passport office) on hand to process applications, however, their participation depend on the number of interested persons (at least 60 persons) that they are likely to serve. Therefore, persons who need this particular service, should indicate by calling 861-7929 or 828-9982, or send an email to

Benefit Performance: Puppy Love |

The Association has reserved Wednesday April 21, 2010 @ 8.30 pm for a benefit performance of a remake of the play PUPPY LOVE. If this venture is successful, the association will make a profit of $78,000.
Please note that the play has a PG rating of 15 (i.e. not recommended for Children under the age of 15 without adult supervision), and while the scenes are not graphic, parents should determine if they wish to take younger children with them.
Please join us in making this a success, by buying/ selling at least two tickets (per household) at a cost of $1,200 per ticket. You are guaranteed to have a wonderful time. You may send an email to
